Recovery and Regeneration
AIDS Orphans have gone through untold traumatic experiences such as watching their parents die a painful death. In some situations, they were the caregivers to their own parents when they were dying. Most of these children have emotional wounds, which need healing and restoration.
This program will provide community based support groups, which will provide emotional healing and development. The AIDS Orphans themselves and community mentors will be members of the emotional support teams for the healing and restoration of the orphans as members of the community.
The funds raised will pay for the periodic meetings, meeting place, stationary, literature materials, and stipends for facilitators, community leaders and mentors, transport, healthy refreshments and other needs that may arise.
